On Tuesday morning, the Canadian National Railways (CN)
reached a temporary agreement with the on-going union Teamsters,
and the one-week strike is finally expected to end.
This principled agreement
is still pending formal approval by 3,000 union members.
A statement from the Teamsters union states that
the normal operation of the CN will resume
at 6 am local time tomorrow morning.
CN union workers have been on strike for a week,
Canadian arteries have been interrupted,
and various products cannot be shipped,
causing complaints from businessmen
in various fields from Albert to Quebec.
