On the morning of December 5,
in the sea area 120 kilometers southeast of Xiamen, Fujian,
a “Minshi Yu 07705” ship
was overturned by a storm
and 17 people were in danger.
At 7:03 on the day,
the Second Rescue Flight Team of the East China Sea of the Ministry of Transport
immediately dispatched two helicopters
B-7328 and B-7346 to the area
of the incident after receiving the news
from the Fujian Maritime Search and Rescue Center.
Affected by external circulation and cold air,
the sea conditions on the site were harsh,
and gusts reached level 9,
accompanied by 3 meters high waves,
the dilapidated fishing boat went up and down,
and the distressed personnel climbed to the bottom of the diversion boat for rescue.
After arriving at the incident,
rescuers descended from a helicopter
to a flip-fishing boat in a strong wind and waves,
racing against the clock to rescue the distressed.
At 08:43, the B-7328 helicopter rescued the 10 distressed people
who had climbed onto the overturned ship and began to return.
It was confirmed that a total of 17 people were in distress,
10 were rescued by helicopter,
and 3 were rescued by nearby ships.
As of press time, 4 crew members were still missing,
and relevant parties are organizing relevant forces to continue searching.
