As the C-N railway strike enters its fifth day,
24-hour negotiations continue.
Federal Transport Minister Marc Garneau said he understands
the inconvenience and pressure Canadians are experiencing from the strike,
but the best way to resolve the dispute is through collective bargaining.
He said legislation was neither desirable
nor would it take longer for workers to return to work.
If the strike continues until the end of this month,
the Canadian economy will lose up to $ 2.2 billion.
