After the American Auto Workers Union
and General Motors reached a temporary remuneration agreement
GM recalled all employees at the
Oshawa assembly plant in Ontario on Friday (18th).
GM Canada spokesperson Jennifer Wright said
the group had made a recall notice to about 2,000 temporary employees
who had been temporarily dismissed in Osawa on Friday morning
and all employees would return to work.
The strike by the American Auto Workers Union
forced GM to temporarily close the Oshawa plant
and cut the manpower of the St. Catherine plant
The main reason was the lack of parts for production.
